SANSC - Our Club
The St. Albert Nordic Ski Club (SANSC) is a family-oriented nordic ski club that offers a variety of youth programs, adult lessons, ski touring adventures, and fun social activities. Many dedicated club volunteers also maintain St. Albert’s best nordic ski trails at Kingswood Park and River Lot 56.
Sign yourself up for an adult lesson or tour, sign your children up for one of our excellent youth programs, or get everyone involved in this healthy and fun winter activity.
The club's purposes include:
-
to promote and facilitate cross-country skiing;
-
to maintain and groom trails in and near St. Albert for the use of all skiers;
-
to provide recreational, instructional, and racing programs;
-
bring together a diverse mixture of people to enjoy cross country skiing.

SANSC Code of Etiquette:

Ski on the right hand side of double tracked trails.
-
Respect set tracks (two grooves). Do not skate ski, cross, or walk on them.
-
Yield right of way to a skier approaching downhill or from behind and calling "Track".
-
Never stop at the bottom of a hill or on a blind corner.
-
Smile, have fun, and greet other skiers.

SKI RENTALS

SUPPORT
SANSC is grateful to the support of the City of St. Albert and the Province of Alberta for their support through various grants that keep the club active and functioning.
