Thursday Social Skis
Dates: Thursday Nights
Time: 7pm (every week unless posted otherwise).
Location: Meet at Kingswood Park by the ski racks
Join us for a night of fitness, fun and fellowship every Thursday night (weather and ski conditions permitting) at 7 pm, continuing through to the end of the season. We meet at the Kingswood Shelter by the ski racks and our amazing club members will lead us on a ski in the Riverlot. This event is for all ages and abilities, and the distance and pace are tailored to the group that shows up! It is a great outing for everyone from beginners to experienced skiers. Head lamps are needed and SANSC memberships are recommended. Come enjoy a friendly, social ski in a supportive community.

SANSC Cookie Race

The 2026 Cookie Race was an incredible day, filled with 112 enthusiastic skiers, hot chocolate, prizes, and of course a plentitude of cookies! Thank you so much to this year's cookie medal bakers and our generous sponsors! We could not do it without you!

Nordic Ski Open House Day
Celebrating our Diversity
Date: Feb. 22, 2026

We were so excited to host our second annual Nordic Ski Day - Celebrating our Diversity!!
Many community members, from brand new skiers to folks who hadn't been on skis for years to children with their families and friends, braved the chilly temperatures to try out cross-country skiing this weekend! We equipped everyone with skis, boots, demonstration lessons and practice sessions with our coaches. Afterwards hot chocolate and a few snacks were shared and enthusiastic stories were told! It was a great day to introduce, reintroduce, and showcase the amazing sport of Nordic Skiing to everyone in our community.

SANSC BBQ & Social AGM

Location: Meet at Kingswood Park at the SANSC Shed
We look forward to welcoming you to the 46th ski season. We are hosting a BBQ and meet and greet from noon to 1pm. You are invited to come, ask questions and meet our team and enjoy a great lunch. We will have some games for the kiddos too. Our AGM begins at 1pm for those who wish to learn more and maybe even join our team. See you soon!
