We offer high quality cross-country ski lessons to school and community groups! The experience includes ski equipment rentals, a lesson on the basic skills of cross-country skiing, and a guided ski through St. Albert's Riverlot 56. Cost per participant varies depending on the selected length of the lesson and guided ski, with groups arranging their own transportation to and from our location at Kingswood Park.
Lesson Selection
Find the option that is the best fit for your group! Whether you're booking for an outdoor education class, a scout or girl guides troop, or a corporate team-bonding experience, we have an option for you.
*A minimum number of 10 participants is required to book a group lesson. The maximum number of participants for a group lesson is 30; however, the size of group we are able to accommodate may vary based on equipment availability. Groups with participants under the age of 18 may be asked to provide additional supervision (teacher, TA, parent, etc.).
What to Expect
All participants will be required to fill out an Assumption of Risk form prior to participating in a group lesson. Upon arrival, ski groups will make their way to the St. Albert Nordic ski shed, where they will be greeted by their instructors. Skiers will be sized up for equipment in the ski shed and have the opportunity to store personal belongings. Restrooms are available next door in the warm-up shelter. The warm-up shelter also has benches and picnic tables should groups want a space to eat snacks or lunch; however, we ask that groups please be mindful that the warm-up shelter is a shared space with the public.
